On Saturdeay, January 31st, Joanne an I took a bus out to Miyun (north of Beijing) and then took a taxi to Jinshanling. It was a gorgeous sunny day and we hiked the 10km section of The Great Wall from Jinshanling to Simatai. Here are some of my photos of this incredible structure.

Hard to believe this was built so long ago aver such rough terrain and that it has held up so well.Amazing construction!!
