On February 1st, Joanne and I took a taxi to The Beijing Zoo. The big attraction here is the Panda Exhibit. The Pandas are housed in a nice new area with lots of informative signs - very educational! The rest of the zoo is set in a lovely park. There are lots of nicely treed pathways to walk around on. There are also some attractive ponds and canals. These were frozen over at the time of our visit. Here are some photos taken at the Beijing Zoo.
