The Yuyuan Gardens are another oasis in the midst of Shanghai. These gorgeous gardens were originally built during the 16th Century. They have been restored several times after such events as The Opium Wars. It is hard to imagine that just on the other side of the garden walls are the crowded streets shown in the previous pictures. Here are a few photos of this beautiful spot.
