Wuyi Shan 武夷山

On May 28th my student and good friend, Judy, and I took the train to Wuyi Shan in the northwest of Fujian Province. Wuyi Shan (武夷山)(or Wuyi Mountain) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This mountainous area contains one of the best examples of a subtropical forest in the world. It has many interesting landforms and caves. It also has a beautiful river winding through it. It is well worth a visit. Here are some photos of our train ride and of our arrival.
