Boat Coffins



One of the interesting phenomenon found along the Nine Bends Creek, are the remains of boat coffins. These boat coffins are seen in crevices high above the river bed. No one is sure how the coffins were placed in their precarious positions. They are over 3000 years old. Here are a couple of photos of the remains of boat coffins.
