On Tuesday, September 30th, I got up bright and early and took a taxi to the wharf which is the embarkation point for the Li River Cruise. The Li River was featured in Episode One of David Suzuki's recent documentary entitled Wild China. It is a gorgeous part of the world!! The landscape is made up of many Karst Hills. The Li River meanders through this area and, in spite of the number of tourists, the cruise is delightful. Hopefully, my photos will provide a taste of this very special area of the world.
